Contact Us

Trinity Lutheran School is a great school! We believe you are looking for small class sizes. We believe that you have contacted us because you are looking for a partnership to assist with your child's education. We believe you are looking for a safe nurturing environment. We believe you are looking for a school that teaches the basics in Religion, Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic.

Small Classes

We keep our classes small. We believe that a small class gives the teacher opportunity to build strong relationship with each child. Small class numbers allow a teacher to effectively and implement high expectations. Small classes give the parents and the teacher opportunity to build a strong communication base. Finally, a small class promotes a family style of learning that encourages the child to grow and succeed. Our class size can be found by clicking on "Programs".

Strong Partnership

You are looking for a school that will work with you, as your partner in your child's education. Trinity agrees with you and works with each family to build that strong partnership. That partnership begins the moment your child is accepted to attend Trinity Lutheran School. Your child's name is added to our class list. From the class list, the teacher begins in August to call and make arrangements to come to your house for a home visit! That's right, a home visit! Our teachers go out to each and every child's home prior to school starting, and spending 20-30 minutes with your child and you. The children love this aspect of our partnership! It shows that our teachers are willing to go the extra-mile for his/her students. The children love coming to school with his/her picture already on the class bulletin board. The parents have a new partner that they know cares for their child. The teacher knows the child and has important insight into the student's life that will be used to nurture the child in the classroom.

Nurturing Environment

Trinity Lutheran School is a caring place! When you drop your child off you will walk out knowing that your child is in a place where his/her welfare will be protected. You will drop your child off with staff members you know and who know your child. You will go to work knowing that your child is learning, making friends, and being nurtured.

Basics

Trinity Lutheran School does an outstanding job educating children! We believe in the basics; Religious Instruction, Language Arts, Math, Science and Geography basics. We believe that a child must learn to read and write starting with the basic sounds and shapes of our alphabet. From there the child will expand his/her ability to communicate to include synthesizing sounds and shapes to form words, sentences, and paragraphs. Practice at using a skill will allow the child to master it. The basics must be mastered before moving to a more advanced skill. Trinity does this starting in preschool and works with the child to develop mastery of every basic skill. Evidence of what we do can be seen on the California Achievement Test/Iowa Test of Basic Skills Chart that you see below. Annually, our average class scores are above their grade level in Math and Reading.
